Two coincidences. I used to head off in a car load of mates to play football on a Monday evening with a car load of mates, sharing new discoveries (mainly music, film and TV) on the way. Last week we drove up to Scotland from Bristol, we could have done a car share. Then again we were in Glasgow, so nowhere near the sea.
I’ve only had one sauna experience. A hotel in Prague, we didn’t last long, when some hearty folks jumped. It seemed like we were just a bit too close to people we didn’t know, whilst lacking clothing.
Yeah, you do have to deal with a whole heap of naked flesh in European saunas. Personally I prefer it, but here in prudish blighty … never gonna happen! (To be fair, when you were in Glasgow, we were near Kilmarnock - which isn’t that far from it.)
As a Scot in Scotland, yeah it can get pretty baltic up here! My son has that kind of parka coat, so I'll recommend he wear it the proper way next time he goes out.
